Deborah Uwagboi

Deborah is a first-year student in the University of Calgary's Faculty of Law. She grew up in Lagos, Nigeria, and has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Economics from the University of Regina. Deborah has worked as a summer student in the Law Society of Saskatchewan (complaints and disciplines) and with the Saskatchewan Legislative Authority as a clerk and as a student policy analyst with the Government of Saskatchewan. When not studying, Deborah enjoys trying new restaurants, reading history novels, cooking/baking, running, and watching horror movies. She is beyond excited to begin her legal journey and honoured to join the PBSC team as the 1L representative.
